Sales Coordinator - Online Advertising (LA)

LOCATION: the Rubicon Project HQ in West Los Angeles

This person will be responsible for assisting a team of outside salespeople and media planners as they sell some of the top publisher brands on the Web to the industry's leading advertising networks.

 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Assist outside salespeople in sourcing campaigns for Rubicon's global publisher clients by building and expanding relationships with the industry's top advertising networks
  • Manage contracts and fulfillment of contracts
  • Run reports on sales activities for sales management and other internal managers
  • Support salespeople on troubleshooting ad serving or technical problems
  • Provide administrative support to sales management

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years online advertising experience, either for an ad network, ad agency, or large branded publisher preferred
  • Experience in sales preferred
  • Understanding of industry trends, technologies and pricing models
  • Understanding of online advertising dynamics and campaign buying & planning
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ambition, high energy and the will to succeed
  • Motivated to work in a fast-paced, fun environment
  • Strong desire to work in a team setting
  • BA/BS required
