The Rubicon Certified Inventory™ program provides independent verification to ensure safety and accuracy for ad networks, agencies and advertisers. Certification gives premium publishers access to high-quality, higher priced campaigns for your non-guaranteed inventory - without the risk of damaging your direct sales team's relationships or sales opportunities.

The program certifies premium publisher inventory based on context, audience, geography and many other factors – but does not guarantee or present inventory by publisher brand name. Certified Content & Audience

Each Rubicon Certified website is carefully screened, rated and classified using technology and human verification.  We perform a technological analysis and data matching technique on every ad impression to verify source (e.g. geography).  Our verification generates ratings and classifications for:

  • Safety Rating (i.e. Fail-Safe = G, Clean = PG, Edgy = R, No Adult, No Pirated Content)
  • Quality Rating
  • User Generated Content Rating (e.g. moderated, un-moderated)
  • Channel Classification
  • Language Classification

Certified Placement & Targeting

Certified websites implement universal Rubicon Project ad tags.  Universal tags eliminate the need for websites to traffic individual ad network tags, therefore protecting ad networks from any manual trafficking errors or technology targeting inconsistencies or limitations from websites.  The Rubicon Project placement engine matches, targets and translates ad network tags to universal website tags ensuring proper placement by:

Certified Tracking & Reporting
