Mohn will focus on identifying and advocating strategic moves to help quickly grow the Rubicon Project and the Ad Network Optimization sector.

Jarl Mohn was founding president and CEO of Liberty Digital, a public company that invested in mid-stage interactive television, cable networks and Internet enterprises. Prior to Liberty Digital, he created E! Entertainment Television, serving as president and CEO from January 1990 to December 1998. Under his leadership, he launched E! Online and its related Web sites and a new 24-hour network called Style.
He was formerly executive vice president and general manager of MTV and VH1, where he led strategy for the network’s highly successful transition away from music videos to longer-form programming. He also oversaw the network’s worldwide international expansion.
Prior to his career in television, Mohn enjoyed a successful 19-year career in radio as on-air personality Lee Masters. Today Jarl divides his time serving as a corporate director and advisor to media companies, as well as making private equity investments in venture capital and buyout opportunities. He manages The Mohn Family Foundation, a philanthropic entity created in 2000.
Jarl currently sits on the board of directors of E.W. Scripps Company, XM Radio, Inc., among others and is up for election for a seat on the board of comScore, Inc. He also dedicates time for several Not for Profit Board seats, including: Chairman of ACLU Foundation of Southern California; board of councilors for Annenberg School for Communication at USC; and Southern California Public Radio KPCC, among others.
